As we are also qualified in mortgages and equity release which means we can take a holistic view of our clients finances, without them needing to visit both a financial wealth manager and a mortgage adviser separately.

The Main Application Steps For Mortgages & Equity Release

 

Application

We will provide you with independent advice following a fact-finding session. Once we are satisfied that we can provide a suitable product we will  research the market for you and provide you with our recommendations in writing. If you are then happy and wish to proceed we will assist in completing an application and provide you with a copy.

 

Valuation

The lender will organise an independent valuer to assess your home and determine its market value. If you are buying a home, you should get a 'RICS' surveyor to ensure you are fully informed of the condition of the property you intend purchasing.

 

The Legal Process

You should appoint your own independent solicitor who will act on your behalf throughout and ensure that you understand the process at every step. Cheapest is rarely best in the world of conveyancing.

 

Mortgage & Equity Release Advice Fees

You can pay for our mortgage services by:

1. A fee
2. Lender fee (where this is available)
3. A combination of fee and lender fee

 We will provide you with a separate ’Key Facts about our services’ document detailing the mortgage services we offer and the costs of those services.

​ There may be a fee for mortgage advice. The precise will amount will depend on your circumstances but we estimate it will be £250.00 on a £100,000.00 mortgage
